Nice to  meet you, short presentation

Since 2019, I have been breeding Maine Coon cats under the name Coutset Coonies in the Romand Cat Club. In 2023, I switched to the Cat Club des Montagnes, affiliated with the FFH. We occasionally participate in FIFé exhibitions, partly to confirm a certain level of conformity to the standard, and partly to maintain contact with internationally recognized, reputable breeders.

Of course, our small breeding program is officially registered at the Austrian authorities.
My breeding philosophy is to produce typical, people-oriented Coonies from healthy, properly tested lines; we don't seek extremes.

The breeding credo is always: 3 x health, 2 x character, 1 x beauty. This has proven to be very successful throughout my life, with all the animals I have ever bred.

Without any exeption all breeding animals are checked for their health before being mated (Heart and kidney echo, genetest complete)
I consider breeding Maine Coons in their original type to be my contribution to the preservation of this wonderful, people-oriented, easy going breed.
